Our Company |
 Open Solutions was established by Mr. David Tong to offer low-cost enterprise IT consulting services. David is a Chinese-American from Boston who had spent 25 years living and working in America. David has a degree in computer science from Northeastern University and has been working in software development and consulting for the last 17 years. Here are some of the prestigious companies David had spent his carrer at: MITRE Corp., Thomson Corp., Fidelity Investments, Spyglass Inc. (the very first commercial browser company who also licensed the original Internet Explorer to Microsoft) and Progress Software. David has a very mixed background. Besides IT consulting, he had owned a restaurant in Somerville, Massachusetts, operated a calling card e-commerce web site and started a consumer electronics trading business in Thailand. With his solid engineering and business background, David is very confident in developing the company into one of the major global IT solution providers.
We Emphasis on Quality
We are not your typical consulting firm. We are a real software engineering firm that provides consulting services. We practice all the proper software engineering processes such as quality assurance. We understand white-box and black-box testing and we do use them a lot. In many projects, we setup black-box tests to overload the servers and make sure no crashing events would occurred and it is also good indication how scalable are the application and the hardware. We also like to get our customers involved in our testing processes. Often in time, the customers can catch many problems we would have overlooked. We set up test servers from our end and allow the customers to access them remotely to perform tests or demo the progress of the project. We believe in 100% code coverage and we try our best to ensure quality control.
